Gerhardson Public Works <br />Title Public Works Director <br />Item Description: Surplus Property- Water Tank <br />In November of 1994 the staff recommended and Council approved designating a water tank at <br />Pump House #2 as surplus property and directed the City Administrator to advertise for bids to <br />dispose of the used water tank. <br />On February 17, 1995 the City of Orono received and opened the one bid received. <br />The bid received was from the City of Medina for an amount of $4jmil <br />The Citv Engineer ’s estimated value was $3,000-$4,000. Therefore it is recommended to sell <br />the water tank to the City of Medina for an amount of $4,'lllll <br />The scheduling of the removal and disconnect of the tank to be scheduled by John R. <br />Gerhardson, Public Works Director. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the sale of one used water tank to the City of Medina for an amount of <br />$4,000.
