MN 55356 <br />JJ^ <br />SJ <br />■t <br />>5 <br />« <br />Subject:Water Problems on Kelly Avenue <br />Dear Council Member: <br />I would like to sincerely request your help in obtaining the resources for the City of <br />Orono to raise the road on a portion of Kelly Avenue which is annually flooded. The <br />water on the road in front of my house is well over one foot deep. I am sure you do not <br />wish to hear repeated problems associated with this flooding, however, I have enclosed <br />two letters to the City Public Works Department which summarized numerous <br />conversations and no results to-date. <br />Our beautiful City of Orono contains many great roads and I am proud of the way they are <br />maintained and the results of our Public Works Department. I feel they should be <br />commended for a great job done overall. Unfortunately, the flooded part of Kelly Avenue <br />which is adjacent to my home makes it impossible for certain vehicular traffic to my <br />home. I encourage you to drive on it soon and formulate your own opinions. In the mean <br />time, I place my hopes and confidence in your hands. <br />Please review my concerns and let me know what you can do to help.
