A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE CITY’S MEMBERSHIP <br />LN MINNESOTA POLICE RECRUITMENT SYSTEM (MPRS) <br />WHEREAS, the city has been a member of the Minnesota Police Recruitment <br />System (MPRS), and <br />WHEREAS, the city has determined that its membership in MPRS should be <br />terminated, and <br />WHEREAS, the MPRS joint powers agreement requires that notice of termination <br />be accompanied by a resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby terminate its membership in the MPRS. This termination to be effective December 14, <br />1994, which is the date of the city’s written notice of withdrawal from the MPRS. <br />Adopted by the City Council at a regular Council meeting held January 9, 1995. <br />Edward J.
