NmUTES OP THE PIAniHG COMMISSIOH !TIP6 HELD M&SCH 21, 1988 <br />11258 mjSRT OOMTiaUBD <br />A conditional use permit is also required for land <br />alteration within the 75* lakeshore yard, and excavation <br />and construction within the 931.5 elevation. <br />Dave Oskey, 1761 Concordia St., stated he was not in <br />favor of granting the variances because it would reduce <br />the visibility of the park. He does not feel there is a <br />hardship to support granting the variance and 10* <br />setback should be maintained for the garage. <br />Jack Anderson stated that the location of the garage was <br />basically for aesthetic reasons and could be moved. <br />Chairman Kelley did not have a problem with the <br />hardcover but felt the neighbors request for maintaining <br />the 10* setback should be adhered to. <br />Johnson, Bellows, and Brown concurred with Kelley. <br />John Waldron, 1951 Concordia St., stated he did not feel <br />.4% hardcover Increase was significant at^ it was not <br />significant in his previous application. <br />There were no other comments from the public and the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Chairman Kelley, seconded by Johnson, to <br />recommend approval of the conditional use permit (per <br />grading plans submitted), hardcover and lakeshore <br />setback variances; and recommend denial of the side <br />setback variance. This request will result in <br />an overall reduction of .4% proposed hardcover. <br />Planning Commission had no objections to this request.
