Request for Council Action continued <br />Page 3 <br />November 20, 1995 <br />Zoning File #2194 David Alan Sutherland, 1365 Arbor Street <br />5. The area and width of the lot is consistent with developed lots to immediate south and <br />southeast of the property. <br />6. Property is located immediately west of the City’s Old Crystal Bay Road park. <br />7. The City has received no negative comments from property owners notified of the <br />proposed improvements requiring variances <br />The applicant advised that the two mature evergreens at the south and east side of structure <br />will be removed as a result of new construction. Sutherland advised that he does propose to <br />install new plantings when construction is completed in the spring of 1997. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the setback variances for <br />David Sutherland to permit construction of a partial second story over the existing residence <br />located at 1365 Arbor Street based on hardships set forth by applicant. <br />The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the findings of the Planning Commission <br />recommendation. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To adopt or amend the enclosed approval resolution.
