TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br />November 4, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: 2.5 Acre Parcel South of the Orono Public Works Building on Highway 12 <br />Bill Gagne, one of the owners of the 2.5 acre parcel of land on Highway 12 adjacent to the <br />parcel recently purchased by the city from the County, was in to inquire about the city ’s interest <br />in purchasing the 2.5 acre parcel. He was advised that the city was jnot interested in purchasing <br />the parcel under the same circumstances as we purchased the adjacent comer parcel. However, <br />the city is interested in working cooperatively toward both the sale of the property and <br />facilitating a quality development on the property.
