The corridor that Mn/DOT has <br />proposed as its preferred alternative is called "Alternate 6 North" <br />and generr.lly follows along the north side of relocated Burlington <br />Northern Santa Fe (3NSF) trackage. A public hearing concerning <br />this alternative has been scheduled for November 21, 1996 in the <br />Orono High School cafeteria. A copy of the hearing notice is <br />enclosed for your information. <br />Although the alignment and grades for Alternate 6 North are still <br />quite preliminary and the currently available mapping incomplete, <br />it does not appear that any real estate parcels you own or have <br />interest in will be acquired by Mn/DOT. However, due to your <br />proximity to proposed improvements (500 ft.+), you may perceive <br />indirect secondary effects to your property.
