The current <br />truck, with approximately 90,000 miles, is twelve years c’i and is becoming costly to maintain. <br />Typically these vehicles are bid through cooperative purchasing. This year bidding was done <br />through the State of Minnesota. Boyer Ford was awarded the bid but has a limited number of <br />vehicles on hand that meet our sj>ecification. Therefore, it is necessary to provide Boyer Ford with <br />a letter of intent to purchase. <br />The amount budgeted was $64,900. The amount of the vehicle cab and chassis and the dump body, <br />hydraulics ^lnd underbody plow is $65,972. Therefore, it is recommended to provide a letter of intent <br />to purchase one single axle dump truck to Boyer Ford for an amount of $65,972.
