A RESOLUTION VACATING <br />PORTIONS OF UNIMPROVED STREETS AND ROADS WITHIN <br />BLOCKS 3, 5 AND 7, MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK <br />IN THE CITY OF ORONO, <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />FILE NO. 2101 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 22, 1995, Charles W. Hommeyer, Kenneth B. <br />Rolland and Jeffrey A. Bowen (hereinafter the "applicants") filed a petition with the City of <br />Orono requesting the vacation of portions of unimproved dedicated right-of-way adjacent to <br />their properties that were originally dedicated in the plat of Minnetonka Summit Park, Hennepin <br />County, Minnesota and legally described as follows: <br />That part of Ridge Place (now kno^^^l as Oak Street) as dedicated to the <br />public in the plat of MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK which lies <br />northerly of the easterly extension of the soudierly line of Lot 7, Block <br />5, MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK. <br />ALSO <br />All of Clyde Place as dedicated to the public in the plat of <br />MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK. <br />ALSO <br />That part of Oak Street as dedicated to the public in the plat of <br />MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK which lies between the southerly <br />extensions across said Oak Street of the east line of Lot 4, Block 3, <br />MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK and the easterly line of Lot 7, Block <br />5, MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK and which lies northerly of a line <br />drawn parallel with and 30 feet northerly of, measured at right angles to, <br />the northerly line of Block 7, MINNETONKA SUMMIT PARK and its <br />westerly extension to its intersection with said southerly extension of the <br />easterly line of Lot 7, Block 5. <br />WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, a public hearing was held <br />before iue City's Planning Commission on January 16, 1996, regarding said vacation and all <br />interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />Page 1 of 2
