Use additional sheet if necessary.) <br />See attached. <br />What is your view of the role of the Commission? <br />I view the comirissions role as being a non-biased intermediary between <br />the residents of the conununity and the city council.It is the planninc <br />commission's role to view each and every request for variance in relatic <br />to the city's general plan and the specifics of the area the property <br />itself is located within. It is up to the planning commission to <br />determine whether the granting of a variance is within the best interest <br />of the whole community while at the same time trying to be fair with tht <br />individual requesting that variance. <br />Other Comments: (Use this space to include any further information you would hke <br />the City Council to consider, or that you feel is relevant to the appointment you are <br />seeking.
