FRIDAY, JULY 19, 1996 <br />WHERE; SAINT PAUL CIVIC CENTER- OUTSIDE <br />7TH STREET ENTRANCE(near Kellogg blvd) <br />A major announcenic^nt will be made regarding Saint Paul s bid lo host <br />"America's Smithsonian," the largest museum exhibit ever put on the road, <br />which is expected to draw nearly a million spectators by the time it leaves <br />Providence, Rhode Island in September. The two-year tour has previously <br />visited Los Angeles, Kansas City, New York and will move to Providence <br />^The announcement will take place outside the Saint Paul Civic Center. <br />A media staging area will be set up outside the 7th street side imtrance. <br />Mayor Norm Coleman, Governor Arne Carlson, and Congressman <br />Bruce Ve'nto will preside over the announcement.
