A RESOLUTION OR^^NTING VARLVNCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.23, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br />FILE NO. 2140 <br />WHEREAS, Troy D. Anderson and Catherine A. Anderson (hereinafter "the <br />applicants") are owners of the propert>' located at 1490 Long Lake Boulevard within th; City <br />of Orono (hereinafter "the Cit\") and legally described as follows: <br />Lots 3 and 4, Albee's Long Lake Addition, Hennepin County, and That part of <br />Government Lot 1, Section 26, To\Mtship 118, Range 23, lying east of a line <br />drawn parallel to and 675 feet East of, measured at right angles to, the West line <br />of said Section 26 and west of the extension south of the most westerly line of <br />Lot I, "Auditor's Subdivision Number 291, Hennepin County, Minnesota." <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants h.ave applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.23, Subdivision 6 (B) to permit construction of an 18’ x 23' famil: <br />room addition to the west side of the existing residence to be located 30' from the street/ftont <br />lot line instead of the required 50', applicant also proposes a 6' x 6.8' roofed entry addition to <br />the south side of the residence to be located 42' from the front/street lot line instead of the <br />required 50'. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2140. <br />2.The property is located in the LR-IA, Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District.
