* 4 <br />Reque^ for Council Action continued <br />page 2 of 2 . <br />June 20, 1996 <br />Clarification of Wetland Filling and Mitigation Policy <br />Staff Recommendation <br />If the portion of the wetland to be filled is a city-designated wetland, staff recommends the <br />established policy in opposition to filling be followed. If the portion to be filled is a newly <br />delineated wetland, staff recommends consideration of a request to fill, subject to suitable plans <br />for replacement of the wetland and providing for water quality ponding. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQLT:STED <br />Motion to clarify the city’s policy in regard to the filling of wetlands
