Request for Council Action continued <br />Page 2 <br />June 20, 1996 <br />Zoning File #2144 Arthur and Terr>' Jewett, 3546 Ivy Place <br />The following viiriances are required:i <br />1.Section 10.22, Subd. 1 (A) - Structural improvements/building envelope <br />expansion is proposed for a portion of the structure located within the 0-75' <br />setback area. <br />Required = 75' <br />Existing setback = 63' <br />No further expansion into lakeshore yard is proposed. <br />2.Section 10.22, Subd. 1 (B) - Average lakeshore setback variance required for <br />proposed expansion of building envelope that encroaches average lakeshore <br />setback line by 22.6'. <br />3. Section 10.22, Subd. (2) - Hardcover variance within the 0-75' setback area. <br />A.0-75' setback area = 7,500 s.f <br />Allowed = 0 s.f. <br />Existing = 514 s.f. <br />Proposed = 514 s.f. or ^ 8% <br />B.Review of total hardcover on property. <br />Total area = 23,200 s.f. <br />Proposed = 4,198 s.f or 18% <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the application as proposed. <br />The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the findings and conditions of the <br />Planning Commission recommendation. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To adopt or amend the enclosed resolution. <br />Isv
