if <br />r ■ <br />> 3 r'O <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION <br />FOR AN I/I REDUCTION LOAN OR GRANT TO THE <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES (MCES) <br />WHEREAS, the city of Orono currently experiences substantial infiltration and <br />inflow (I/I) into its sanitary sewer system; and <br />WHEREAS, Orono has initiated, in recent years, a comprehensive program to <br />reduce I/!, and <br />WHEREAS, the MCES is offering a program of loans and grants for I/I <br />reduction efforts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby authorize the submittal of an I/I reduction loan or grant application to MCES and also <br />does hereby authorize John Gerhardson and Ronald Moorse to serve as subject matter contacts <br />related to the grant. <br />Adopted by the Cii> C.'uncil this 28th day of May, 1996. <br />Edward J.
