Request for Council Action continued <br />page 5 of 5 <br />May 24, 1996 <br />Marina Licensinu <br />1 met with Councilmcmber Hurr and LMCD Administrative Technician Greg Nybeck at <br />Lakeside on May 1st and we confirmed that tix 'tvrofoam conversion has been satisfactorily <br />completed. Lakeside's 1995 license was never brought forw ard to Council for review during <br />1995 pending completion of the styrofoam conversion. The 1995 license will be brought <br />forward for Council approval if/when the 1996 license application is submitted. <br />I met with Mr. Dunn and inspected the site with him on May 9th, at which time he indicated <br />the 1996 license application and CUP application would be submitted shortly. Neither ha\ e <br />been received as of this writing. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approval of 1996 commercial marina licenses for Windward Marina, Minnetonka <br />Boat Works - Orono, Sailor's World Inc., and North Shore Marina. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Proposed Motion: Moved by , seconded by , to direct staff to issue <br />1996 commercial marina licenses to Windward Marina, Minnetonka Boat Works - Orono, Sailor's <br />World Inc., and North Shore Marina subject to continued compliance with the minimum operation <br />standards.
