Wc haM: since been ad\ iscd by the county trustee of the property in question, tltat lot 23 lus been appraised at $6,000.00. It is also the opinion of this individual, that the only way w e can procure legal use of this driveway, is to purchase the entire lot, w hich would require a resolution from llie city of Orono to: A approve rcconvc>ance (in which case they would have to contact the county assessor’s office for the proper forms). B. approve a lot split of lot 23, block 7, Crystal Bay View (according to city procedures), and C if Orono has a housing and rcdc\clopnicnt authority, approve our request tiuit tlicy sell the lot to us, after they buy it from tlie county. The city council resolution should rcdect this process Wc intend to add tlie lot to our homestead lot description, which will further ensure that wc arc not interested in selling off part of the property, or profiting from this process in any other way, than to have legal use of tlie driveway.
