The selection process for a maintenance worker position <br />has now been completed to the point where staff is recommending a conditional offer of <br />employment to Donald DeBaere. The purpose of the conditional offer of employment is to <br />enable a physical examination and pre-employment drug test to be completed before making the <br />final appointment. <br />Mr. DeBaere has considerable experience in a wide range of public works related activities. <br />These include maintenance and repair of light and heavy equipment and small engines, operation <br />of light and heavy equipment, and installation of water and sewer lines and lift stations. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to authorize a conditional offer of employment to be made to Mr. Donald DeBaere for <br />the Public Works maintenance worker position.
