Beginning at the most easterly comer of Lot 21, "Wiley’s Navarre Addition, Lake <br />Minnetonka"; thence southeasterly along the northeasterly line of said Lot 21 extended <br />to its intersection with the northwesterly line of Outlot C, "Lafayette Ridge"; thence <br />southwesterly along the northwesterly line of said Outlot C to its point of intersection <br />with the northeasterly line of Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 1433; thence <br />northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said Tract A a distance of 33.08 feet to the <br />most northerly comer of said Tract A; thence southwesterly to a point on the <br />northwesterly line of said Tract A, 253.03 feet southwesterly of the most northerly <br />comer of said Tract A; thence North 31 degrees 52 minutes 41 seconds West a distance <br />of 43.82 feet more or less to a point on the southeasterly line of Lot 5, Block 3, <br />"Townsite of Langdon Park"; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said <br />Lot 5, Block 3 to the most easterly comer of said Lot 5, Block 3; thence northeasterly <br />along the southeasterly lines of Lots 22 and 21. "Wiley’s Navarre Addition, Lake <br />Minnetonka" to the point of beginning, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, public hearings were held <br />by the City’s Planning Commission on February 20, 1996 and April 15, 19% regarding the <br />proposed vacations and all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, after due standing and consideration, the Planning Commission <br />recommended unanimous approval of the proposed vacations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono finds that said vacation <br />as proposed is in keeping with the public interest and in consideration of the following <br />findings: <br />1.The vacated portion of Navarre Lane has been barricaded and not open for public <br />use since the early 1960s. <br />2.The proposed vacation will not landlock any adjacent property. <br />3.The condition of the alley restricts reasonable public use. <br />Page 2 of 3
