A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISIONS 1 (B) AND 2; <br />SECTION 10.55, SUBDIVISION 8; AND <br />SECTION 10.56, SUBDIVISION 16 (C & L) <br />FILE #2063 <br />WHEREAS, Gerald R. and Candace E. Rowlette, husband and wife, (hereinafter <br />••the applicants”) are owners of the property located at 3775 Bayside Road within the City of <br />Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Refer to Exhibit A attached, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City tor variances to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivis ons 1 (B) and 2; Section 10.55, Subdivision 8; and <br />Section 10.56, Subdivision 16 (C & L) to permit the reconstruction of a deck to the lake side <br />of the existing residence to be installed within the exact footprint of the existing deck located <br />58^ from the shoreline where a 75’ setback is required resulting in 423 s.f. of new hardcover <br />improv’ement where no hardcover is allowed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2063. <br />The property is located in the LR-IA. Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District requiring 2 acres in area.
