REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEIT l.AND <br />WHEREAS, on January 10, 1994, the Orono City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 3379, requesting that a tax forfeit parcel described as P.I.D. No. 07-117-23 23 0001 be <br />conveyed to the City of Orono; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 12, 1994, the Orono City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 3511, requesting again that a tax forfeit parcel described as P.I.D. No. 07-117-23 23 0001 <br />be conveyed to the City of Orono: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. That the City of Orono reaffirms the above-stated resolutions and requests that <br />the entire 9.35 acre tax forfeit parcel be conveyed to the City of Orono for park <br />and open space purposes at no cost, with the exception of a 0.5 acre portion to <br />be conveyed to Steven and Joan Valek. <br />2. That the City of Orono requests that Hennepin County confirm in writing by no <br />later than March 4, 1996, that said parcel will be withheld from sale at the Spring <br />1996 tax forfeit land sale. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held on the 26th day of February, 1996. by a vote of ___ayes and_____nays. <br />Edward J.
