With Council's authorization, <br />staff will contact James White to determine his willingness to serve an additional term on the <br />commission. <br />The Council may at this time want to determine the process to be used to fill the current vacancy on <br />the commission. The Council interviewed a number of candidates in April of 1997 and filled two <br />vacant positions at that time. The Council may want to review the applications of the remaining <br />candidates from the April process, and/or advertise for additional candidates. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />1.Motion to authorize staff to contact James White to determine his interest in serv ing another <br />term on the Park Commission. <br />2. Motion to indicate the process to be used to fill the existing vacancy on the Park <br />Commission.
