the aggregate average over the year will K 7 J hours per week with variations of plus or <br />minus 10 hours in any given week being co. ,k ;red acceptable delivery of the contracted <br />extra service. <br />During the period in which such additional service hours are provided, the staff <br />assigned to provide such service will be physically within the city limits of Long Lake at all <br />times save for the following: <br />A. Responding to Necessary Calls which are defined as calls created by immediate <br />necessity for police service, such as responding to a medical emergency, a crime m <br />progress, an officer requiring immediate assistance, etc. Such calls \vill always be a <br />part of tlie communications log of the Orono Police DeparUnent an t e o icer <br />responding ^v^ll have been directed by official communication to respond to the <br />Necessary Call. <br />B. Scheduled travel to the Orono Police Department Offices at the beginning or end of <br />shifts, or for break periods as called for by Union Contract. <br />C Looping through Orono as a part of tegular patrol patterns through the City »f Long <br />Lake. The loops that are permitted will have been agreed upon in advance by the <br />Long Lake representatives to the Police Commission. <br />D. Transporting prisoners to the Orono Police Department, Hennepin County Jail, <br />Juvenile Detention Center, Detox Center, or other locations as necessar>'. <br />There shall be the equivalent of four addidonal officers, who when on duty shall be stationed <br />within the City of Spring Park. During the period in wbch <br />hours are provided, the staff memberfs) assigned to provide such service will be physically <br />within the city limits of Spring Park at all times save for the following: <br />A.
