(.12 acre) <br />Application: The aprrr- mt is proposing a 282 s.f. carport addition with a deck above to the front <br />of the existing residence. The carport would be primarily located over existing hardcover. <br />Variances are required for side setback, lakeshore setback and hardcover in the O' to 75’ and 75' <br />to 250’ lakeshore setbacks. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />Planning Commission recommended by a 6 to 0 vote to: <br />1.Approve a side setback variance of 6.2’ to allow the addition to be located 3.8’ from <br />the west side lot line where 10’ is required and 6.2’ is existing. <br />2.Approve a lakeshore setback variance of 10’ to allow the addition to be located 65’ from <br />the lakeshore where 75* is required. <br />3. Approve a hardcover variance of 40.6% in the 0’ to 75’ lakeshore setback to allow 40.6% <br />hardcover where none is allowed and 43.13% is existing. <br />4. Approve a hardcovei variance of 26.2% in the 75’ to 250’ lakeshore setback to allow <br />51.2% hardcover where 25% is allowed and 56% is existing. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED; <br />To approve or amend the proposed resolution.
