"Gas deflecting baffle" <br />means an obstructing device on the septic tank outlet that <br />limits the escape of solids that are carried by septic tank <br />gases. <br />Subp. 17b. Gravelless drainfield pipe. "Gravelless <br />drainfield pipe" means a distribution medium consisting of a <br />corrugated distribution pipe encased in a geotextile wrap <br />installed in a trench. <br />Subp. 18. Greywater. "Greywater" means sewage that does <br />not contain toilet '-•^stes. <br />Subp. 18a. Hazardous waste. "Hazardous waste" means any <br />substance which, when discarded, meets the definition of <br />hazardous waste in chapter 7045. <br />Subp. 19. Holding tank. "Holding tank" means a tank for <br />storage of sewage until it can be transported to a point of <br />Subp. 19a. Imminent threat to public health or safety <br />"Imminent threat to public health or safety" means situations <br />with the potential to immediately and adversely impact or <br />threaten public health or safety. At a minimum, ground surface <br />or surface water discharges and any system causing sewage backup <br />into a dwelling or other establishment shall constitute an <br />imminent threat._ _ _ _ <br />rne?n^ar?in5ividua!*^Bewage <br />treatment system as defined under subpart 21. <br />Subp. 19c. ISTS professional. "ISTS professional" means a <br />person who conducts site evaluations or designs, installs, <br />alters, repairs, maintains, pumps, or inspects all or part of an <br />individual sewage treatment system and is required to comply <br />with applicable requirements. <br />Subp. 20. [Repealed, 20 SR 1995] <br />Subp. 21. Individual sewage treatment system. "Individual <br />sewage treatment system" means a sewage treatment system, or <br />part thereof, serving a dwelling, or other establishment, or <br />group thereof, and using sewage tanks or advanced treatment <br />followed by soil treatment and disposal. Individual sewage <br />treatment system includes holding tanks and privies. <br />Subp. 21a. Invert. "Invert" means the lowest point of a <br />channel inside a pipe. <br />Subp. 21b. Landscape position. "Landscape position" means <br />the identification of the shape of the land or geomorphic <br />setting of the soil. Terms used to describe landscape position <br />include ridge, sideslope, footslope, closed depression or <br />pothole, drainage way or swale, terrace, or floodplain. <br />Subp. 21c. Licensee. "Licensee" means the person to whom <br />a license under part 7080.0705 is issued. The designated <br />registered professional is subject to the same obligations as <br />the licensee. The license must be applicable to the work being <br />performed. <br />Subp. 22. [Repealed, 13 SR 2752)
