r <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTIONS 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) AND <br />10.03, SUBDIVISION 9 (E) <br />FILE #2247 <br />WHEREAS, Wayne Holmes (hereinafter "the applicant") is owner of the <br />property located at 1390 Park Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lots 19 and 20, Block 13, Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter <br />"the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Sections 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) and 10.03, Subdivision 9 (E) to permit the <br />construction of an accessory storage garage to be located less than the normally required 35' <br />from the adjacent side street and less than the required 15’ setback from any lot line for a <br />structure of area 750-1,000 s.f. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2247. <br />The property is located in tlie LR-IB, Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on June 16, 1997, <br />and recommended conditional approval of a side setback and side street setback <br />variance based upon the following findings: <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />■ ->n ..
