ORDINANCE No. 16 - PAGE A <br />G, No person shall drag an unoccupied tow line behind a <br />watercraft for an unreasonable length of time. <br />H. No person shall tow or be towed into or through a <br />marked channel connecting two bodies of water or in Seton Lake. <br />There shall be no water skiing on Black Lake on Saturdays, <br />Sundays or Holidays,(As amended by Ordinance No. 16:01(8/15/60) <br />SUBSECTION 7. The overtaking and/or passing of any craft in <br />a channel or narrow passage by the operator of any motor <br />boat, speed boat, or of any vessel under power, so as to en <br />danger other craft; and all craft shall proceed through all <br />channels and narrow passages of water at safe speeds, other <br />wise the operator th^Stoffi shall be deemed to have committed <br />a public nuisance. <br />SUBSECTION C, The failure to equip and maintain lights, <br />and to have such lights lighted when the boat or vessel is <br />operating within the harbor limits of the village at flight. <br />SUBSECTION 9. Obstructing or interfering with passage of a <br />boat or vessel through a channel or narrow passageway. <br />SUBSECTION 10. Operating a boat or vessel in a careless or <br />reckless manner in or ab.out a public swimming beach. <br />SUBSECTION 11. Swimming in a channel, or jumping or diving <br />from a channel bridge. <br />SUBSECTION 12. Operating any watercraft, automobile, vehicle <br />or powered propelled device on the open water, or upon an <br />ice covered body of water, in such a manner as to endanger <br />life, limb or property, (As amended by Ordinance No. 16:01, <br />C/15/60) <br />SECTION G. NOTICES, Owners of docks used by the public shall <br />post two (2) Legible copies of this Ordinance on or near dock. <br />SECTION 9. PENALTY, Any person violating any of the provisions <br />of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be <br />punished by a fine of not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) <br />or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days. <br />( 5/7/56 )
