We will be holding them again <br />during the 1997 bass season and would like to hold the weigh-ins at the new <br />Maxwell I3ay Public Access. <br />I have applied to the D.N.R. Trails & Waterways and llcmtepin County <br />Water Patrol for the pennits that arc needed. 1 he water patrol needs a letter <br />or call from the City of Orono with your ok to complete the pcnnil process. <br />We hold the toumamenls on Wednesday’s from June 4th - August 27th. Tlic <br />tournament has anglers meeting in front of the access with the easc-offal <br />6:00FM during June and July. The ease-off is moved to 5:00PM in August <br />with the weigh-ins just prior to sunset, usually nt 9;00PM in June and most of <br />July and than becoming earlier each night as the days gel shorter. <br />One reason that the Maxwell access would be great is the fact that the North <br />Ann access is close by so anglers can put in at either access and not over <br />crowd either one of the accesses. <br />If you need additional infonnalion please give me a call. <br />Respectfully. <br />Denny Nelson, Touniament Director <br />p. oi
