Soil borings have been advanced and bonng logs are available
upon request.
17. Erosion and Sedimentation Give the acreage to be graded or excavated and the cubic
yards of soil to be moved; acres approximately 80 : cubic yards 339.750 .
Describe any steep slopes or highly erodible soils and identify them on the site map.
Describe the erosion and sedimentation measures to be used during and after construction
of the project.
Steep slopes are present around the Conference Center. Best Management Practices as
prescribed by the Metropolitan Council will be utilized to minimize potential erosion during
construction. Upon completion of each construction phase, all soil surfaces will be
reveaetated. All soils excavated on the Site will remain on the Site.
18. Water Quality - Surface Water Runoff
a. Compare the quantity and quality of site runoff before and after the project. Describe
methods to be used to manage and/or treat runoff.
