»: <br />II : <br />t <br />RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE ORONO ICE ARENA, INC. <br />PAYMENT OF SEWER AND WATER CONNECTION CHARGES <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Ice Arena, Inc. is constructing an ice arena facility, and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of the facility requires connection to the city's water <br />and sewer system, and <br />WHEREAS, the connection requires the payment of water and sewer connection <br />charges in the amount of $8,490 per unit, for a total cost of $101,880 for 12 units, and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Ice Arena, Inc. has requested to pay the water and sewer <br />connection charges over a five year period rather than in a single payment at the time of the issuance <br />of a building permit, and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Ice Arena, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and <br />WHEREAS, the ice arena will serve the needs of Orono youth. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does hereby <br />authorize and direct the City Administrator to draft an agreement w ith the Orono Ice Arena Inc. <br />setting out the terms of a five year payment plan for the water and sewer connection charges. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br />February 10, 1997. <br />ATTEST:Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />Dorothy M.
