The applicant <br />requested previous variances last year to change a cabin into a residence. <br />(See File U 2248). <br />The following variances were granted in 1997: <br />1. Side yard variance to allow a second story addition 5.3* from the <br />south property line where 5.3’ was existing and 10' is required. <br />2. A hardcover variance in the 0'-75' setback of 19% where none is <br />allowed. The amount of hardcover allowed in the 0'-75' setback is to <br />be subtracted out from the total amount allowed in the 75'-250' <br />setback. <br />3. A lakeshore setback variance to allow the cabin to be remodeled in <br />place where the cabin encroached into the required 75' setback. <br />A conditional use permit was granted to allow for land alteration in the <br />________________0'-75' setback.
