The purpose of the action item is to gain approval accepting Officer Trent Wiebusch letter <br />of resignation. <br /> <br />2. Background / Summary. Trent Wiebusch was hired as a police officer by the City of Orono on <br />January 24, 2022. Trent Wiebusch has submitted a letter of resignation. Trent Wiebusch last day is July <br />24, 2023. Trent Wiebusch has accepted a police officer position with the city of Chaska. The police <br />department wishes Trent Wiebusch the best of luck in all of his future endeavors and for his service to the <br />citizens of Orono, Mound, Spring Park and Minnetonka Beach. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation.
