Donations were made to WeCan, the Mound Food Center, and the Gillipsie
Center. Levang thanked the volunteers for their help.
Printup noted Corn Days was this past weekend and that Orono's Hennepin County Commissioner was
the grand marshal of the parade.
Printup noted he is starting to get comfortable with going paperless and that he has been using his tablet
the past few meetings. Printup stated he still has his paper backup but that he hopefully will be able to go
away from that in the near future.
Printup stated one matter the City Council may want to discuss at some point in the future is sign postings
for developments. Printup noted the City Council has talked about it once in a while whenever there is an
issue in the neighborhood and that perhaps the City Council can explore requiring two signs be erected.
Printup stated another issue that has come up periodically is the notice radius and that the City Council
should perhaps think about whether that should be expanded.
Printup suggested the City Council at a future work session also discuss ceiling height and pad and grade
so he can learn more about that. Printup stated sometimes when Council and Staff are talking about
height issues, it can be difficult to follow.
