Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, Minnesota 55323 <br />RE: WILLIAM AND STANLEY GREGORY PROPOSED SUBDIVISION <br />BRACKETT/MOLLY*S CORNER CONTROVERSY <br />Dear Alan: <br />I appreciated your having taken the time this past Tuesday, February <br />22, 1983, to meet with me, Bruce Malkerson and John Gerhardson con­ <br />cerning a resolution of the controversy involving the use of the <br />Molly's corner parking area. <br />I believe that the concerns of my clients and their neighbors re­ <br />garding the problems that have arisen over the years in connection <br />with the use of the Molly's corner parking area are we11-documented <br />and need not be discussed further at this point. My purpose in <br />writing this letter is to fulfill my promise made to you during <br />the meeting in question of responding to the staff's proposals and <br />ideas for resolving the controversy. <br />William and Stanley Gregory are willing to enter into an agreement <br />for the deeding of certain parcels of land to the City of Orono as <br />a part of an integrated plan for satisfying neighborhood concerns <br />over the use of the shoreline and Molly's corner parking area. It <br />goes without saying that the consent of the neighbors and the com­ <br />munity must be obtained as a prerequisite for the Gregory's entering <br />into this agreement. I must again stress that any plan must be part <br />of an integrated plan for solving the health, safety and welfare <br />concerns of the neighbors in the Molly's corner area.
