The purpose of this action item is to gain council approval to commence the planning and <br />engineering of the 2024 Street Improvement Project. <br /> <br />2. Background. At the May 8th, 2023 Council Work Session, the Council provided direction for 2024 <br />street projects. The streets being considered for 2024 are Willow Drive South (Fox to Brown), <br />Partenwood Road & Lane, and Orchard Park Road (as an alternate). <br /> <br />3. Scope. Planning and engineering will consist of topographic surveying, utility inspections, design, <br />permitting, public input and solicitation of bids for select roads. <br /> <br />4. Engineering and Design Cost. Bolton and Menk has provided a scope of services for a fee estimate <br />not to exceed $55,000 (Exhibit A). <br /> <br />5. Funding. The engineering as well as the eventual projects will be funded with a combination of the <br />Pavement Management and Stormwater Fund. <br /> <br />Fund Cost Estimate Est. 2023 End of Year Fund Balance <br />Pavement Fund $ 1,121,500 $ 369,906 <br />Stormwater Fund $ 184,680 $ 1,838,546 <br />Total $1,306,180 <br /> <br />6. Timeline.
