He felt there request was in excess of <br />what the City should grant. <br />Guenther Roth's plant manager, George Stodola, was <br />present. Mabusth noted that Mr. Roth cannot accept <br />the garage going on Lot 8 and Mr. Roth prefers the <br />garage to go on Lots 17 and 18. <br />George Stodola noted Mr. Roth's concerns with the <br />Planning Commission's previous motion. He noted <br />that Mr. Roth doesn't want to be so limited that he <br />cannot update his property. He stated that Mr. Roth <br />is requesting that the garage be put on Lot 17 and 18. <br />Goetten moved to deny Mr. Roth's request to put the <br />garage on Lot 17 and 18 but to approve the two stall, <br />single story garage on Lot 8 subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Detached garage to be placed on Lot 8. <br />2. Owner must obtain a demolition permit for removal <br />of existing garage on Lots 17 and 18. <br />3. All roof drainage to be directed away from lake <br />towards Baldur Park Road. <br />4. Building Official will determine if soil borings <br />are necessary for a floating slab. <br />5.Owner is placed on notice that the City will not <br />approve future improvements to this property if <br />they require variances. <br />6. Applicant must tear down existing garage prior to <br />issuance of building permit. <br />Rovegno seconded. Vote: Ayes (5), Nays (0) . <br />William Ulrich was present.
