Hank Muliich presented a colored map to the ComnissiGn <br />which he received from the Hennepin County Conservation District, They advised <br />against building on the blue area which contains soils not suitable in maintaining <br />on-site septic systems. Additional information received regarding proposed rerout <br />ing of County roadways revealed the proposed road is planned throu^ most of the <br />remaining high, buildable area of this plat. Applicant is aware of these reports. <br />Zoning Administrator informed Commission tliat applicant was very upset after learn <br />ing that there mig^t be some difficulty developing this area because of the <br />existing conditions. Applicant felt he should have the right to develop the area <br />or someway be reimbursed. Zoning Administrator suggested he contact watershed, <br />floodplain or conservation agencies or the Hennepin County llig}iway Department. <br />The City’s primary objective through control of land use is providing protection <br />of healtli, safety and welfare of the public.^ <br />Commission tabled tlic matter. <br />n <br />f! <br />inter <br />f I <br />11 <br />I' <br />1
