f ! <br />For Planning Commission Members a <br />Council Members ONLY <br />The developement of the lot to the north of our property has been most distressful to our family. <br />Mrs. Parten chose to burn down the old cottage and it was done <br />in such a way that thousands of gallons of water had to be poured on <br />our roof to keep our home from being damaged by the heat. This <br />caused water in our basement and two of our trees had some damage. <br />Now whenever it rains, which hasn't been too often this summer, <br />the water and soil from their property drain down onto the north side <br />of our house. We have been patiently tolerating this situation until <br />the final grading is done. We thought this would be done before <br />winter as we are very concerned about spring runoff. This has not <br />yet been done. <br />Then the placement of their house in front of ours, looking <br />over our property. <br />Then when the deck was built in that location, we felt it was <br />more than we could tolerate. This, we felt, was directly affecting <br />our peace of mind and reasonable privacy. <br />We have the greatest desire to be friendly with all our neighbors <br />but Just not that friendly! <br />If you come to view the location of the fence, please give me a <br />call before you come so you can view the area from our family room. <br />Thanks so much, ' <br />n <br />\\- <br />I
