cm OF ORONO, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR PLANNING OCMflSSIQN MEETING HELD OCTOBER 18, 1976 <br />The Ormo Planning Conmission met on the above date with the <br />following membeTS present: Chaiiwcman Diane Dunlap, Members <br />Brad Van Nest, Gene Woolley, John Guthrie, Paul Pesek, Jdtm <br />Hake, Gloria McDonald, Gregg Haimah and Asst. Zoning Admin­ <br />istrator A1 Olson. Also present were Council Members Mary <br />Butler and Noiman Paurus. <br />C^irwoman Dunlap announced at 7:30 p.m. that this was the <br />time and place for the continued public hearing on the sub­ <br />division application of Van Eeckhout Building Corporation <br />for property located at 400 Old Crystal Bay Road. Mr. Van <br />Eeckhout was present. <br />At their previous meeting, the Planning Cormission had <br />requested that a drainage plan be submitted for review by <br />the City Engineer. Mr. Olson infoimed the Commission that <br />he had not received any revised plans, but that he had talked <br />with our City Engineer who had reviewed the proposal and had <br />no objection. Mr. Van Eeckhout explained that he had not <br />submitted a drainage plan because of the fact that there <br />would be no changes made in the flow of drainage, rtenber <br />Van Nest suggest^ the possibility of drainage easClients on <br />this property. Mr. Van Eeckhout stated that they would <br />grant vhatever reasonable easements necessary. Mr. Rosengren, <br />property owner to the west of this subdivision, again stated <br />his concern that the drainage be maintained. After all the <br />public were heard, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:40 p.m. <br />Qmrwoman Dunlap announced at 7:41 p.m. that this was the <br />time and place for the Public Hearing on the petition of <br />Ed Lehnan for a subdivision of property locat^ at 3527 <br />Shoreline Drive. Zoning Administrator explained that Mr. Lehman <br />is requesting approval to subdivide this property into four <br />tracts. Mr. Lehman’s property is located in two different <br />zcning districts. The northern portion ir zoned LR-lCl - <br />1/2 acre. The southern portion is zcmed 1 acre. One year <br />ago, Mr. Lehman was granted approval to move in a new home. <br />This home is on Lot A and is occupied by his daughter. <br />Mr. Lehman is also the owner of Lots 1-6. Mr. Richard <br />Edwards owns Lots 7 § 8. Mr. Lehman was present and infoimed the <br />Ccmnission that both he and his brother oivned Lots 1, 2 § <br />3. After all the public were heard, the hearing was closed <br />at 7:50 p.m.
