The City of Orono is an Equal Opportunity Employer <br />Minimum Requirements <br />• High School Diploma or equivalent. <br />• Valid MN Class B Driver’s License. <br />• Valid MN Class A Driver’s License or ability to obtain within one-year of employment. <br />• Must live within a 30 minute travel time of the Orono public Works facility within one <br />(1) year of employment. <br />• Satisfactory results from drug test, physical examination, motor vehicle records check, <br />and criminal background investigation. <br /> <br />Desirable Qualifications <br />• Two (2) years of related experience. <br />• Associate’s Degree in Public Works. <br />• Completion of a certificate program in Public Works. <br />• Minnesota Commercial Class “A” Driver’s License. <br />• Class “D” or higher wastewater collection system license. <br />• Class “D” or higher water treatment and collection system license. <br /> <br />Physical Demands and Working Environment <br />See Physical and Environmental Addendum
