CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO.7359 <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />MARK MCCUTCHEON <br />FOR SERVICE <br />AS CHAIR TO THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is an important part of the <br />Planning process; and <br />WHEREAS, the solicitation and receipt of public comment by the <br />Planning Commission is instrumental to the City Council as they make land use <br />decisions that impact Orono Residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the ability for the chair of the Planning Commission to <br />professionally manage the public hearing process to ensure all voices are heard is <br />a special skill; and <br />WHEREAS, Mark McCutcheon in 2022 chaired the Planning <br />Commission with skill and aplomb; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Mark <br />McCutcheon for leading the Planning Commission during his term as Chair. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 24th day of April. <br />ATTEST: <br />___________________________ _________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor
