These lines were installed to provide pollution abatement and sewer service to the Navarre business area and to the urban residential areas along Lake Minnetonka. The system was originally designed with capacity to discharge flow from the saturation population in the areas currently served including those areas designated for servi:e but not yet developed. The original design included capacity for Minnetonka Beach.
