MN 55323 <br />Re: Wayzata Country Club Pond Expansion <br />File No. 139-2398 <br />Dear Paul: <br />We have reviewed the grading plan for the proposed expansion of two existing ponds on the <br />Wayzata Country Club property. The site is located north of T.H. 12 and south of the Luce Une trail <br />in the south half of Section 36. The ponds are located along the #6 and #12 fairways. We have the <br />following comments in regards to engineering matters. <br />We recommend that the ponds be graded to include a 10:1 aquatic bench at the normal water <br />level. The bench should be at least 10 feet in width to provide a vegetated safety buffer. <br />Does either pond have an outlet? Outlet pipes pr draintile should be shown on the plans. It <br />appears that any flooding of the ponds will be confined to the Country Club property. <br />• The plans show a balance of cut and fill on site, we would expect that no excess material be <br />hauled off site. <br />• All temporary erosion control must be in place prior to the start of construction. <br />Please contact me at 651-604-4863 if you have any questions regarding this matter. <br />Yours very truly, <br />BONESTROO, ROSENE, ANDERLDC & ASSOCIATES.
