§ 10.20 <br />B. Churches. Churches including those related structures located on the same <br />site which are an integral part of the church proper, convents or homes' for persons reiated to a <br />religious function on the same site provided no building oth'*- than a residence shall be located <br />within fifty feet of any lot line of an abutting lot in an "R" Di let. <br />C. Clubs, Camps, etc. Golf courses, country clubs, tennis clubs, public <br />swimming pools serving more than one family, scout camps, Y^'fCA camps, YW CA camps, church <br />camps, or private non- profit parks, playgrounds and other similar uses. The principal structoe for <br />any of the above listed uses shall be 100 feet or more firom any abutting lot in an "R" District, and <br />accessory structures shall be a minimum ofiifty feet from any lot line. <br />D. Public Service Structures. Public service structures, including but not <br />limited to electric transmission lines, buildings such as telephone exchange stations, booster or <br />pressure regulating stations, wells, and plumbing stations, elevated tanks, lift stations and electrical <br />power substations, provided no building shall be located within 50' from any lot line oi an abutting <br />lot in an "R" District. Prior to granting such permit it shall be found that the architecnral design of <br />service structures is compatible to the neighborhood in which it is to be located and thus v^ill <br />promote the general welfare. Public service stmetures as defined above that have been approved by <br />the City at required public hearings for public improvement projects shall not require a conditional <br />use permit but such structures shall be subject to all other appropriate standards set forth in this <br />section; amendments to approved plans involving design and/or placement of these structures will <br />require written notice by the City to all affected property owners 14 days prior to the adoption of the <br />amended plans by the Council. Personal wireless services and commercial broadcasting antennas <br />and towers shall not be considered public service structures. <br />Source: Ordinance 29,2nd Series <br />Adopted; 2-23-87 <br />Source: Ordinance No. 161,2nd Series <br />Effective Date: 5-27-97 <br />E. Greenhouses. Commercial greenhouses provided all outside storage is <br />fenced in such a manner so as to screen the stored material from view when observed from the public <br />street or adjoining lot.
