COUNCIL MEETING
REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
OCT 2 5 1999
CITY Uh OHUNU
DATE; 10/19/99
ITEM NO.‘I
Department Approval:
Name Paul Weinberger
Title Zoning Administrator/Planner
Administrator Reviewed:Agenda Section:
Zoning
Item Description: #2519 Matthew and Robin Staloch
4705 Watertown Road
Amend Variance
Zoning: RR-IA One Family Rural Residential Zoning District (5 acre)
Summary of Request
The City Council approved a variance to allow a 40' x 28' bam to be located on the applicant's
property located at 4705 Watertown Road. A variance was required because the accessory building
(bam) is located closer to the front property line than the principal stmcture which is located near
the rear of the property not allowing a bam to be located between the house and rear property line.
Following approval of the variance the applicants purchased the materials to constmct the bam and
it was determined the bam is 30' in width where the variance approved a bam 28' in width. The
applicants have requested the Council amend the variance approval to allow a 40' x 30' bam.
Because the property is 5.4 acres in size the lot is allowed one oversized accessory building with a
maximum size of 2,200 s.f. The proposed building is 1,200 s.f.
Council Action Requested
Adopt or amend the enclosed resolution.
