Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 0066 <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />Closure of Stubbs Bay Road/Highway 12 Intersection Planned <br />During the month of October, the City of Orono will be completing a construction project <br />to permanently close the Stubbs Bay Road railroad crossing and Highway 12 intersection. A new <br />cul-de-sac will be constructed on Stubbs Bay Road south of the railroad tracks. This project will <br />elim’nate an unsafe access point along Highway 12 and provide increased safety for motorists <br />traveling on the highway.
