PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br />On a vote of 4 to 2 the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the attached resolution <br />approving a bluff setback variance and average lakeshore setback variances to permit residential <br />construction on the property and to deny variances to allow an existing garage to remain within the <br />0-75' lakeshore setback. It is recommended the garage be relocated to the 75' setback allowed for <br />structure and hardcover. <br />The Planning Commission did have concerns regarding the location of the proposed residence within <br />the 30' top of bluff setback. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />To adopt or amend the attached resolution and to allow the property owners to use one of the fifty <br />sewer units provided to the City from the Met Council to provide service to a future residence. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />To adopt or amend the enclosed resolution.
