TO;Paul Weinberger, Assistant Zoning Administrator <br />FROM: Stephen Weckman, On-Site Systems Manager <br />DATE:August 4, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: Septic Review for Application #2479, Peter Andrea - Final Plat <br />The proposed seven lot subdivision includes septic system testing and design for two drainfields on <br />each lot. The drainfield sites meet all City and State Regulations. <br />Each new lot has been tested by Swedlund Septic Ser\ices to confirm the presence of suitable <br />original soils adequate for two five bedroom drainfield sites. These drainfield sites are located on <br />slopes less than 6 percent and meet all City and State Regulations. The Plat includes the <br />identification of many non-Orono wetlands and all drainfield sites meet the required 75 feet from <br />all type 3 wetlands. <br />Based on the above information, staff would recommend approval of the application. The City <br />requires that all drainfield sites be fenced off prior to any grading or land alteration on the property.
