April i4, 1999 <br />Page 2 <br />and on those aspeas of our position which emphasize the commuruty*s oppositiori to <br />the outlot requirement imposed by the City Council. ‘ I would like to believe that the <br />interests of the community affected are consistent with the interests of the City, and, <br />should the community be opposed to the imposition of the outlot, the City should <br />conform its position to that of the community. <br />When none of us wants a through street, and when none of us sees any benefit <br />in a through street, I would hope that the City could see it within its power and <br />discretion to avoid the through sueet. <br />Charlie, I know you are sincere in your belief, and I know that you work hard <br />for the City. My hope is that there is stiU some way that your sincerity and hard <br />work and my own can coincide with respea to this issue.
