A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.20, SUBDIVISION 3 (G) <br />AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3902 <br />-FILE #2482 <br />WHEREAS, Spring Hill Golf Club (hereinafter "the applicant" or "the Club") is <br />the owner of the property located at 725 Sixth Avenue North within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />"City ) and legally described as: <br />Exhibit A attached (hereinafter "property"); and <br />WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing on April 19, 1999, at which times all persons desiring to be <br />heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City of Orono for a conditional use <br />permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (G) to permit the use of an <br />existing farmhouse on the property as a caretaker and guest house, and further to amend the CUP <br />approval of Resolution No. 3902 to allow said structure and adjacent outbuildings to be retained <br />on the Club property. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2482. <br />2. The property is located in the RR-lB-1 Zoning District, where 2 acres is the <br />minimum lot area.
